I am in Aveiro, in Portugal, for a month on a research visit, working with Maria Elisa Fernandes and Dimitri Leemans. We are working hard, on the trail of a very nice theorem; I hope to say more about that before too long!

Aveiro is called “The Venice of Portugal”, since it has canals, along which tourists are carried in boats like this:
