Jasmine Hall just sent me a link to this site, which has a list of 14 “holidays” with some mathematical connection, from “Pi day” to mathematical storytelling day, and including commemorations of people such as Sofia Kovalevskaya and Martin Gardner (as well as Pythagoras and Fibonacci).
While I am at it, I will just mention that I am never going to be “mathematician of the day” (at least in my lifetime), since I share a birthday with David Hilbert.
